Proposed Design

Three years ago we embarked on an ambitious project to replace both Memorial Hall and Social Club, with a new purpose built facility. Each building had been built in the early 60’s in remembrance of Wolverley’s fallen from both World Wars. Despite the outstanding work of the respective committees, the buildings had fallen into disrepair and, following a survey, it was deemed that […]

Christmas Craft Market 2017

We invite you to a very special Christmas Craft Fair on Sunday 10th December, in Wolverley Memorial Hall. We have brought together an exciting range of specially selected stalls featuring very individual artesian craft sellers. Treat yourself or someone special from a beautiful range of crafts and gifts. Enjoy some delicious homemade cakes and some very special mulled wine and mulled cider.

Our beautiful Christmas hamper is full of homemade Christmas treats will be raffled that afternoon, so be sure to buy a ticket to win this luxury Christmas prize.

It wouldn’t be Christmas without carols round the tree, and we have a lovely tree, donated by our kind friends at Bodenham Arboretum. Come and sing with us at 4pm, sip your hot mulled wine and sing a carol or two, knowing that Christmas will be a little bit more special.

Our Handmade Christmas Craft Fair is open at Wolverley Memorial Hall from 11am until 5pm, on Sunday 10th December, with carols round the tree at 4pm. This is another event brought to you by Wolverley Memorial Project.

Architectural Concept Designs 2016

Cast your vote!

We’ve had four exciting presentations from local architectural practices with their Concept Designs for the new Memorial Hall and Sports and Social Club development. All the designs are great, with lots of potential. It’s going to be a tough choice!

Now it’s up to you! We’re inviting everyone from the local community to have a say in which choice of design we go forward with. So please get involved.

Now remember, this is a concept design, not the finished plan, so we’re not looking at specifics, just which style, form and design you like the look of most. Which one you feel would work best for the local community and fit well within the village of Wolverley.

Remember, the new development is going to be there for many years to come, so your choice is for the future generations of Wolverley. It’s a big responsibility, but an exciting one too.

So have your say, get along to Wolverley Village Carnival on Saturday 2nd July where you can cast your vote. Visit the Wolverley Memorial Project tent and see the designs, chat to the team and most importantly cast your vote!

Please click the images below to view the digital presentations.
